Held online the first part of the third Serbian local Workshop

On 24 February 2022, the Rda Bačka held the first part of the third online Serbian local workshop within the Adriseismic project.

The workshop was organized with the support of a team of experts in the field of earthquake engineering.

The professional public in the Republic of Serbia had the opportunity to learn about the following topics:

• Work package technical 1. Possible improvements of the technical regulations regarding seismic retrofitting of the buildings in Serbia. Highlighted good practices from partner countries, presented by Borko Bulajić, PhD, Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad

• Work package technical 2. Expeditious assessment of masonry buildings: methodology and examples, presented by Svetlana Brzev, PhD, President of the Serbian Association for Earthquake Engineering (SUZI-SAEE) & Professor at the University of British Columbia, Canada
