On 8 March 2022, the Regional Development Agency of Bačka organised the second part of the third online Serbian local workshop within the Adriseismic project.

The program of the second part of the third Serbian local workshop

The professional public in the Republic of Serbia had the opportunity to learn about the following topics, presented by experts:

  • Work package technical 2 – Expeditious assessment of concrete buildings: methodology and examples. Presented by Svetlana Brzev, PhD, President of the Serbian Association for Earthquake Engineering (SUZI-SAEE) & Professor at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and
  • Work package technical 3 – Transfer of knowledge – Training courses in Adriseismic project. Presented by Marko Marinković, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade.

In addition to the above mentioned topics, the representative of Regional Development Agency Bačka Marija Prokopić informed the workshop participants in brief with the basic challenges in the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Adrion programme in general within which the Adriseismic project is financed.

In the end Svetlana Brzev, PhD informed about the future project activities.
