Held in presence (in Bologna) and online, on 8 and 9 September 2021, the Italian study visit has been organized by the University of Bologna (Unibo) and the first day was spent between the Academy of sciences (Accademia delle Scienze, in Palazzo Poggi), the Aula Magna, and piazza Puntoni, the site of the Italian pilot case.

Marco Pasquini, Adjunct professor of the Department of Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering, shows some examples on restoration and preservation techniques, in particular related to the earthquake that stroked Emilia-Romagna region (Po valley) on 20 and 28 May 2012.

During the first afternoon of the visit, the Unibo adjunct professor, Davide Prati, presented to the PPs, gathered in piazza Puntoni, the laser scanner CAM2.
