The National Research Council of Italy (CNR), the lead partner of the MUHA project organized the third meeting of the Adrion Thematic Sub-cluster 2.2 on Risk Prevention and Disaster Resilience. The event took course on the 30th of September 2022. During the event, the cluster’s projects Adriseismic, Muha and Transcepearlywarning presented the outcomes and the developed tools.

After the presentations, the partners participated in a brainstorming session. During the brainstorming they had the opportunity to discuss and collaborate on the new project ideas starting from the new IPA. The attendees were divided in five teams of 8-9 people. Each team brainstormed on one of the five thematic areas agreed in advance:

  1. water management
  2. water crisis
  3. earthquakes
  4. wildfires
  5. communication for resilience

A “narrator” facilitated the session, sharing three questions as starting points of the brainstorming discussion:

  1. what are the main challenges in the Adrion area on the thematic area of the team
  2. how the technical expertise of the cluster can be used to solve the challenges
  3. how the challenges can be tackled by the transnational and cross-sectoral strengths of the cluster.

The five narrators presented then the results of each team in a plenary session.

The meeting was the first opportunity for a physical meeting of the cluster and the involvement of its member projects in an effort of capitalization of their outcomes and produced tools.

The meeting allowed the efficient exchange of information among the projects and persons involved in the thematic cluster, and open up opportunities for future collaborations.
